INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING SESSIONS

Individual counseling is a powerful, evidence-based therapeutic approach that provides focused, one-on-one support between a counselor and client. This setting creates a safe, confidential space to explore thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns at a deeper level.

Integrating approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) allows individual therapy to move beyond surface-level symptom management and address the deeper roots of distress. EMDR and Brainspotting work directly with the brain and body to process unresolved trauma and stored emotional experiences that often drive anxiety, depression, and relational patterns. At the same time, IFS helps clients identify and understand the internal “parts” that carry pain, as well as the protective strategies that attempt to manage it. When combined, these approaches create a comprehensive framework—supporting both neurological processing and internal emotional integration—so clients can experience lasting relief, increased self-awareness, and greater emotional regulation. This integrative work is especially valuable for individuals who feel stuck in recurring patterns, as it facilitates not just coping, but true healing and transformation.

Through this process, individuals can address personal challenges, improve mental health, and experience meaningful personal growth. Over time, counseling fosters greater self-awareness and equips clients with healthier, more effective coping strategies.

If you’re struggling with imposter syndrome or feeling stuck in recurring patterns, individual counseling can be a transformative step forward.

You dont need more insight-- you need resolution
Intensives may be the solution:
These intensives are designe for people who feel stuck despite insight-- combining EMDR/BSP-IFs to resolve trauma, high distress or intense emotional pain

At the core of EMDR is the therapist’s guidance in navigating clients through eye movements or other bilateral stimulation techniques, focusing on various aspects of traumatic memories. This approach is intended to unlock the brain’s inherent healing mechanisms, enabling safe and effective trauma processing and reducing its psychological impact

Brainspotting is a powerful, focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing, and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional and body pain, trauma, dissociation, and a variety of other challening symptoms.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy is a transformative, evidence-

based model that views the mind as a dynamic system of distinct “parts,” each carrying unique roles, emotions, and perspectives. Rather than pathologizing these parts, IFS honors their protective intentions and seeks to understand their influence on thoughts and behavior.
